eSIM Compatibility & Installation Guide

1. Check Device Compatibility

  • Dial *#06# and confirm an EID is displayed.
  • Or check Settings for the Add eSIM option.

2. Install Your eSIM

Scan the QR code or enter the activation details.

iPhone

  • Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM

Android

  • Settings → Connections/Network → SIM Manager → Add eSIM

3. Activate at Your Destination

When you arrive:

  • Turn ON the Telling eSIM.
  • Set it as Mobile Data.
  • Enable Data Roaming.
  • Wait about 2 minutes for the local network to connect.

Once connected, you'll see the local carrier name and signal bars.

4. Need Help?

If you can't access the internet:

  • Restart your phone.
  • Wait another 2–3 minutes.
  • Confirm:
    • Telling eSIM is enabled.
    • Mobile Data is using the Telling eSIM.
    • Data Roaming is ON.
  • Still not working? Contact Telling Support.
